Books for the Publishing Trade Most of the books you see in a bookstore are called
“trade books.” All have subtle elements that qualify them
to be accepted by the bookstore. Most trade books have black-and-white
text pages, a full-color hard or soft cover, and a spine with the book’s
title and author’s name printed on it (rarely will you see a spiral-
or wire-bound book on a bookstore shelf). Every book contains the Bookland
EAN bar code. |
